§ 303. Vice Chair
(a) The Vice Chair of the Board of Supervisors shall be elected by the Board of Supervisors
from among the Board’s members. During the absence or inability of the Chair to render
or perform the duties of the Chair or exercise the powers of the Chair, the same shall
be performed and exercised by the Vice Chair. When so acting, the Vice Chair shall
have all the powers and be subject to all the responsibilities given to or imposed
upon the Chair.
(b) During the absence or inability of the Vice Chair to render or perform the duties
of the Vice Chair or to exercise the powers of the Vice Chair, the Board of Supervisors
shall elect from among its membership an acting Vice Chair who shall have the powers
and be subject to all the responsibilities given or imposed upon the Vice Chair.
