The Journal is the House's official constitutional record of its votes and proceedings as described in Vt. Const. Ch. II, § 9. House Rule 19 requires the Clerk's Office to prepare the Journal and further prescribes its contents.

After adjournment of each annual and special session, the Clerk's Office publishes the permanent journal for that session. The permanent journal contains a compilation of the House's daily journals for the session (which can be found here), along with related appendices and a general index.
Roll Call Books
Roll call votes taken at each session dating back to 1994

A roll call vote is required when the House votes on any Governor veto pursuant to Vt. Const. Ch. II, § 11, and on any other vote (except votes taken by ballot) upon the demand of one member who is sustained by at least four other members pursuant to Vt. Const. Ch. II, § 9 and House Rule 69. Vt. Const. Ch. II, § 9 provides each member with the right to have the member's roll call vote explanation printed in the Journal.

After adjournment of each annual and special session, the Clerk's Office publishes a Roll Call Book containing the session's roll call votes and explanations.
