§ 5. Special meetings on failure to warn annual meetings
If the annual meeting of said corporation shall fail to be holden for want of the
notice hereinbefore provided for, or for any other cause, the corporation shall not
be thereby prejudiced; and the said several officers may at any time thereafter be
elected at a special meeting called for that purpose as hereinbefore provided for
calling annual meetings, but any such officers so elected at any such special meeting
shall hold their office only until the next annual meeting of said corporation or
until others are chosen in their places; and special meetings may be called at any
time to fill any vacancies which may exist in any of said several offices, by death,
resignation, or otherwise. (Added 1892, No. 114, § 5.)
