§ 303. Vacancies
The trustees shall fill a vacancy occurring in a Village office, and such person so
appointed shall serve for the unexpired term unless superseded. But the Village may,
at any time before the expiration of such term, supersede such appointment by a new
election at a special meeting, duly warned for such purpose, for the remainder of
the term.
