§ 1311. Tax Collector authority to sell property
The Tax Collector shall have authority to sell at public auction so much of said land
or other property as will satisfy such assessment and all legal fees, and will proceed
in the same manner in the collection of such assessment as collectors of town taxes
are authorized and required by law to proceed in selling real estate at public auction
for the collection of town taxes. All other remedies given towns by law for collection
of town taxes are given the City of Montpelier for collection of all legal assessments
