§ 172. Severability
The sections of this charter and parts thereof are severable. If any portion of this
charter or its application to any person or circumstance shall be held invalid, the
remainder thereof or the application of such invalid portions to other persons shall
not thereby be affected, except that no portion of the charter shall be administered
in an erratic, inconsistent, or prejudicial manner or so as to create a double standard. (Added 1999, No. M-11 (Adj. Sess.), § 2, eff. May 9, 2000.)
