§ 3605. Entry on lands
A municipal corporation, for the purposes enumerated in section 3604 of this chapter,
may:
(1) enter upon and use any land and enclosures over or through which it may be necessary
for pipes, stormwater management systems, and sewer to pass;
(2) at any time, place, lay, and construct any pipes and sewers, appurtenances, and connections
as may be necessary for the complete construction and repairing of the system; and
(3) open the ground in any streets, lanes, avenues, highways, and public grounds for the
purposes described in this section, provided that the streets, lanes, avenues, highways,
and public grounds shall not be injured but shall be left in as good condition as
before the laying of the pipes, stormwater management systems, and sewers. (Amended and renumbered from 24 V.S.A. § 3603 by 2023, No. 143 (Adj. Sess.), § 13, eff. July 1, 2024.)
