§ 2402. Law enforcement agencies; duty to adopt an effective internal affairs program
(a) Each law enforcement agency shall adopt an effective internal affairs program in order
to manage complaints regarding the agency’s law enforcement officers.
(b) The Council shall create an effective internal affairs program model policy that may
be used by law enforcement agencies to meet the requirements of this section. (Added 2017, No. 56, § 1, eff. July 1, 2018.)
