§ 1601. Interest of witness; effect on qualifications and credibility
A person shall not be disqualified as a witness in a civil cause or proceeding by
reason of his or her interest therein as a party or otherwise. However, his or her
interest or connection may be shown to affect his or her credibility as a witness.
