§ 2461. Payment of fire fighting expense
Whenever fire fighters or equipment, or both, are called from without the State to
fight a forest fire or fires within this State, payment of the expense incurred therefor
shall be made by the Commissioner of Finance and Management directly to the state
from which came such fire fighters or equipment, or both, upon presentation to the
Commissioner of Finance and Management by the Commissioner of Forests, Parks and Recreation
of proper vouchers covering such expense, the funds for such payment to be taken from
