Biography
MARTINE LAROCQUE GULICK was born in Tachikawa, Japan, in 1966, where her father was serving in the United States Air Force. Her family moved from there to Ohio and then Montreal before settling in South Burlington, Vermont in 1972. She has a BA and MA from the University of Vermont.

Martine is a high school teacher who taught French and English and served as Library Director in Vermont and overseas. She has been a member of the Burlington School Board since 2018.

Martine has called Burlington home since 1995. She and her husband raised their two children in the New North End, attending school plays and sporting events, running and riding on the bike path and enjoying the proximity to Lake Champlain.

She is currently serving on the Senate Finance Committee and as Vice-Chair of the Health and Welfare Committee.
