Judicial Retention Committee

In accordance with Vt. Const. Ch. II, § 34, the Joint Committee on Judicial Retention was created by 4 V.S.A. §§ 607 and 608 to make recommendations regarding the retention of Supreme Court Justices and judges of all subordinate courts seeking to continue in office after the expiration of their term (except elected probate judges and assistant judges).
