Biography
ANDREW JULOW, of North Hero, was appointed by Governor Phil Scott on May 21, 2024, to represent the Grand Isle district in the Vermont Senate. Born in Burlington and growing up in South Hero, Andrew received a bachelor’s degree in history from Montana State University. He began his career with the National Parks Service, working in Philadelphia at the site of the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. After a brief career in captive insurance, Andrew founded a software design firm that he ran for 11 years. He was named Executive Director of the Lake Champlain Islands Economic Development Cooperation in 2021 and became President of the Regional Development Corporations of Vermont in 2023. He was the Chair of the North Hero and Champlain Islands Unified School District for nine years and the Chair of the North Hero Development Review Board for five years. He is an avid runner and hiker who became an Adirondack 46er in 2022 and ran his first ultra-marathon in 2017. Andrew enjoys home construction and built his current home where he lives with his wife, Corinn. They have two grown daughters.
