- BRIAN K. SAVAGE of Swanton, Franklin County, Republican, was born in St. Albans, VT, and has been a lifelong resident of Swanton. He and his wife, Lynn, have three adult children. Savage was educated in Swanton schools and graduated from Missisquoi Valley Union High School. He has attended the Northern New England School of Banking and is a graduate of the New England School of Banking at Williams College. He had been employed in the banking and financial industry for 33 years and, since January 2007, has owned and operated North Valley Business Consulting, LLC, a small business and municipal consulting firm. He has been active in local community organizations his entire adult life. He is a former He is a former Trustee of the Village of Swanton, former President of the Swanton Chamber of Commerce, is presently the Swanton Town Moderator and is a member of the Board of Civil Authority.
