- Representative WOODMAN (WOODY) PAGE OF Newport, Orleans County, Republican, was born and raised in Newport. He attended North Country Union High School and continued his education at Norwich University. Upon graduation from Norwich, he received a commission in the USAF. He retired from the USAF as a major and continued to work for the Department of Defense in Washington, D.C. After nearly 28 years of military and government service, he and his wife Anne returned home to Newport in 2010. He holds a Master’s degree in Management from Lesley College. He currently serves on the Newport Planning Commission, is a member of the Military Officers Association of America and is a Presbyterian Church Elder and Deacon. In his off time, he enjoys golf, fishing, curling and time spent with his wife at the family’s camp at Walden’s Coles Pond.
