- Biography
- John M. Gannon of Wilmington, Windham County, Democrat, was educated at Groton School, Middlebury College (B.A.) and Suffolk University Law School (J.D.). After attending law school, he was admitted to the Vermont Bar and joined Paul, Frank + Collins in Burlington, Vermont as associate. He later joined the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority in Washington, D.C. He also served as President of the FINRA Investor Education Foundation. After twenty years in Washington, he returned to Vermont with his wife Crista to run Happy Dog Farm, a small poultry producer. John serves on the Wilmington Select Board and is a board member of Wilmington Works, Inc. and BetterInvesting, Inc. He is a member of Rotary Club of Deerfield Valley, the Vermont Mountain Bike Association and the Vermont Farm Bureau. Phone: 802-490-4327. Post Office Address: P.O.
