- JOHN L. BARTHOLOMEW of Hartland, Windsor County, Democrat, was born in Philadelphia, and became a resident of present town in 2005. Occupation: retired veterinarian; former Chief of Research Animal Management Branch of the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development at the National Institutes of Health (Bethesda, MD); retired Captain (O-6), U.S. Public Health Service. Education: University of Oklahoma, zoology and botany major; Oklahoma State University, BS in agriculture and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Member, American Veterinary Medical Association; Hartland Boards of Civil Authority and Abatement (Justice of the Peace).
