- Virginia “Ginny” Lyons of Williston is a Democrat representing Chittenden County. She was educated at Drew University, Rutgers University and earned her Doctorate at UVM. She is a college Professor with over 30 years of experience in The Biological Sciences including at Trinity College VT. She serves on and works with various community boards and organizations. Senator Lyons serves as Chair of the Senate Health and Welfare Committee and is a member of Senate Institutions Committee.
