Biography

GABRIELLE LUCKE grew up in Ringwood, NJ and originally moved to Hartford, VT in 2000. Currently, Gabrielle works as a Senior Training and Development Consultant with the Office of Human Resources at Dartmouth College. She has her BS in social sciences from St. Mary’s College of Maryland and her MS in counseling from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania. She has also completed her doctoral course work in health education at the University of Maryland College Park and earned certification as an early childhood educator. In the Spring of 2013, she received a diversity management certificate from Cornell University’s Industrial Labor Relations School. Her professional life reflects her commitment to education, particularly higher education. For 30 years, Gabrielle has served colleges and universities in many roles, including administrator, faculty member, health educator, and counselor. She has served as a contracted grant reviewer with the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Safe and Drug Free Schools and lead faculty with the LeaderShape Institute since 1996. Gabrielle is a 2013, 2014, and 2015 recipient of SLTP’s Champion for Youth Award. In 2015, Gabrielle was the recipient of the Holly Fell Sateia Award, one of Dartmouth College’s Annual Social Justice Awards. This award recognizes a faculty or staff member at Dartmouth who is an enthusiastic and effective leader in advancing diversity and community. She is also honored to be a 2016 Council of State Government Tolls Fellow. Gabrielle and her family live in Hartford, Vermont, where she is an avid Hurricanes fan! She has served on the Board of Education and currently is on the Board of Directors for Second Growth, a local nonprofit organization serving the youths of the Upper Valley.
