- SANDY HAAS of Rochester, Windsor County, Progressive, was born in Orange, California, and became a resident of Rochester in 1980. Occupation: lawyer in private practice (retired) and innkeeper, The New Homestead Bed & Breakfast. She was educated at the University of California, Berkeley, BA; JD,(Boalt Hall). Her partner is David. Member, Rochester Planning Commission since 1982; White River Valley Players Board of Directors, 1984-2005; Clara Martin Center Board, 1982-1998; Rochester Trustee of Public Funds, 1987-2003.
