- KURT WRIGHT was born in Middlebury, Vermont, and graduated from Vergennes Union High School. He took business classes at Champlain College. He has lived in the New North End of Burlington for the past 25 years with his wife, Kim, who is the business office manager at Burlington Health and Rehab. Wright served ten years on the Burlington City Council and was elected President of the Council from 2007-2009. He also represents his community as a Justice of the Peace. Wright is currently serving in his seventh term as a member of the House and represents District 6-1 in Burlington. A former small business manager, Kurt is now a realtor with Century 21Advantage, located in South Burlington.
