- CHRISTOPHER PEARSON of Burlington, Chittenden County, grew up in Maine, but was born in Canada. He moved to Burlington to attend UVM, where he graduated with a Bachelor's of Art in psychology. In 1998, he got his start in Vermont politics working for then-Congressman Bernie Sanders. In 2006 he was appointed to the legislature to fill a vacancy. Pearson runs his own consulting firm specializing in non-profit communication and project management. He is married with two daughters. Member of the House: 2006-2008, 2011-2012, 2013-2014, 2015-2016. Member of the Senate: 2017-present. Burlington Parks and Recreation Commission member 2009-2014. Home phone: 860-3933.
