- CYNTHIA BROWNING of Arlington in Bennington County was born in Rochester, New York, and became a full time resident of Arlington in 1998. Occupation: Executive Director of the Batten Kill Watershed Alliance. Education: Bennington College in Bennington, VT (BA); University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI (MA/PhD).
