- Biography
- BRIAN K. SAVAGE of Swanton, Franklin County, Republican, was born in St. Albans, VT, and has been a lifelong resident of Swanton. He and his wife, Lynn, have three adult children. Savage was educated at the former St. Anne's Academy and graduated from Missisquoi Valley Union High School. He has attended the Northern New England School of Banking and is a graduate of the New England School of Banking at Williams College. He had been employed in the banking and financial industry for 33 years and, since January 2007, has owned and operated North Valley Business Consulting, LLC, a small business and municipal consulting firm. He is a past member of the Swanton Zoning Board of Adjustment and served from 1993 to 2008 as a member of the Swanton Village Board of Trustees. He is a member of the Swanton Village Fire Department and the Swanton Chamber of Commerce, where he is currently serving as a director. He also has served the Town of Swanton as a Justice of the Peace, and was again elected to that post in 2008. Member of the House 2009-2010, 2011-2012, 2013-2014.
